Graz University of Technology (German: "Technische Universitšt Graz", short "TU Graz") is  the second largest university in Styria, Austria. In Austria there are two Universities of Technology, one in Graz and one in Vienna. Graz University of Technology was founded in 1811 by Archduke John of Austria. TUG, as the university is called by its students, is a public university. During the summer term of 2013, approximately 12.300 students were enrolled in TUG, of which 17.4% were from abroad. 22.4% of the students were female.

In the year 2011 the TUG celebrated it`s 200th anniversary!
